ALL ABOUT ME
I'm a happily married mother of two (almost) grown-up children. My family are a big part of my life, so I've always talked about them often. However, these days I try to keep family talk down to a minimum, so personal posts are now few and far between. :)

The TV characters I'm most passionate about at the moment are: Spike, Eric Northman, Dean Winchester, Castiel, Mitchell and George. Yes, three vampires, a demon hunter, an angel and a werewolf. What's not to love? *g*

MY FANDOM INTERESTS
I'm a long time fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel: the Series. I love the world that Joss Whedon created for us with a passion. While I love all of the main characters, my heart belongs to Spike and Spuffy (my OTP).

Although the Buffyverse is my main fandom, I have moved on to other fandoms, most notably Supernatural (and the lovely Dean Winchester), Doctor Who, Torchwood, Firefly/Serenity, Life on Mars, True Blood and most recently Being Human. I'm a self-confessed TV addict, so I'm always looking for new shows to try out. However, my love of Spike and the Buffyverse is a love affair that's unlikely to end any time soon.

Although I watched the Buffyverse from the start, I didn't come into online fandom until AtS S5, so I was completely unspoiled for the whole of BtVS and the first four seasons of AtS. It was only after Chosen first aired that I ventured onto the internet...and I haven't looked back since.

I'm also a huge fan of James Marsters, the actor who portrayed the character of Spike in both BtVS and AtS. I became a fan through my love of all things Spike, but quickly came to learn that there was so much more to him than that. These days I'm not only a fan of James' acting and music, but I also admire him as a person - flaws and all! :)

Books and reading are also a life-long passion of mine. I read anything from the classics to vampire novels. There's nothing I like more than curling up with a book on a cold winter night. Books and TV - a match made in heaven! :D
